Ingredients
Sliced cabbage (washed & drained) - 1 cup
Grated coconut - 1/4 cup
Red chilli - 2
Curry leaves
Turmeric powder - 1 tsp
Chilli powder - 1 tbsp
Cumin seeds - 1 tsp
Garlic cloves - 3-4 cloves
Mustard seeds - 1 tsp
Salt
Method of preparation
Slice cabbage thinly. In a pan, heat oil, put mustard seeds, let splutter, add broken red chilies, curry leaves and the cabbage. Mix well and close pan to cook for about 3 to 4 minutes (can sprinkle water if seen required). Make a coarse mixture (crushed) of grated coconut, turmeric powder, chilli powder, garlic, cumin seeds and curry leaves. Add this and salt to the cabbage and cook for about 2 to 3 minutes till the raw smell goes. Mix well and let dry and switch off flame.
